Song Title
Nick Alexander has put together a great mix of music parodies. The style is eclectic with disco and punk. Each song has a great sense of humor and solid teaching. I especially liked the Hotline. For such serious topic the song carries a great amount of fun. The classic Grease song re-done as “Love That Someone Right” really makes you want them to “tell us more tell us more”. I bought the first two albums after stumbling by Nick’s work on “should I stand or should I kneel” on and Internet radio station. All of his Parody albums are great for all ages and help even cradle Catholics like myself, find new insights into the faith. I cannot recommend this album enough, Nick’s band is professional and God has truly blessed them with something special.Other CDs I have enjoyedA Time To LaughEternal Life--The Party Album
Musically and lyrically Nick Alexander's work is spot-on. Sometimes genious. But Nick's voice reaches nails on a chalkboard level after a while. For a few tracks, specifically Priest and Holy Thursday, his high, nasally voice actually works, but most of the time the tracks call for someone at least an octave lower. This album is sure to set kids to giggling, and if they pay attention, they will realize their faith is being fortified at the same time.
Once again, Nick has done a fantastic job. From Gluttony to Chastity, Nick covers it with humor, spirit, and musical skill.I can forsee that the song "Love That Someone Right" is going to be played at youth group meetings as often as RCIA is played at youth group dances.

I Wanna Be Debated is the first Christian rock song I ever really liked and I just want to tell you this guy and his humor are great.
I just finished enjoying the whole CD "I Wanna Be Debated." Thank you to Nick - he is one very gifted guy! After enjoying the depth and accuracy of the theology along with the amazing writing and rhyming of the parodies, I was totally caught off-guard by the beauty of the final praise song. It lifted my soul when I least expected it. It is simply beautiful! This is a great CD! It is both entertaining and uplifting, from a guy with his heart in just the right place!
