“On The Way” is the debut CD by Maria Blvd, a five-piece ensemble based in upstate New York. The fifteen song CD features well-known liturgical favorites such as “Only In God” and “You Are Mine” as well as six Maria Blvd originals including the particularly moving “Sometimes”. The music ranges in style from meditative folk to joyous and upbeat praise and worship, featuring soaring vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, piano, flute, violin and bass. A unique bonus is the sound of the kayamba, a traditional African percussion instrument as played by Father Lawrence Mbogo, a special guest who hails from Kenya. The overall impression of the album is one of a kind: a journey through pleasantly reshaped liturgical favorites mixed with fresh sounding originals that will move the soul.

this is a song that has words directly talking to the soul and why I like it is because it not only helps in meditation but moves the spirit to another level of prayer. Is such a powerful song.
