As the mother of one of the young singers on this CD, I must share how hard these children and Natalie Burt worked on this project. It turned into a much bigger project than any of us thought it would be, but the children practiced diligently and Natalie put up with us parents when our attitudes weren't always the most Christian. I would highly recommend this CD to everyone...It is an awesome project that will lead many to Christ! My children listen to it all the time, they dance around the living room, and have learned all the lyrics! It is upbeat, and you will find yourself signing it's songs, long after you've turned it off. You will not go wrong purchasing this masterpiece!
This CD would be enjoyed by children of any age, but especially school age. It is upbeat and gets us all praising God. My nieces and nephews from 7-14 years old were singing along with all of the songs in our car last month. My five year old asks every day, "Can we play our Jesus Rock n Roll CD?" My 2 year old sings the words too! Very cute and I love it because it's all about Jesus and they are repeating phrases of songs that are praises to our God. I'll catch them playing and repeating the words to Awesome God and Your Grace is Enough. Warm your homes with this CD...a MUST HAVE! Marcia and John Zink
I'm one of the many singers on this great CD. It was so much fun to make but it was a lot of hard work. Everyone should buy the CD, you won't regret it! It was an awesome experience.
Wow! Your new Catholic Kids Worship CD was more than I was expecting. I was surprised by the quality of the children's vocals. Even though this CD is being marketed as 'music for kids,' I think it goes way beyond that, fulfilling one of the primary purposes of Christ Music which is to bring together the best Catholic artists out there today and create a product with a distinctive collaborative Catholic feel. The instrumentation is awesome and there is enough raw energy on the CD to send my two small boys into orbit. Great job!
It's about time Catholics make an awesome kids CD! And the video is awesome too! This CD is without a doubt the best music any child could listen to! My kids love it and I also enjoy singing it with them. Thanks for all the hard work that went into this much needed project! Have you considered constructing a VBS based off this CD?
This catholic kids’ worship CD is spectacular! The children, soloists, and instruments all sound wonderful and the production quality is extraordinary. The song selection combines well known contemporary Christian songs with some uniquely Catholic songs. Some of the songs have adult soloists singing with the children accompanying, and other solos are done by the children who really hold their own next to the professionals. I have personally listened to this CD well over 100 times and still enjoy listening to it in the car and at home. My 2-year old son requests this CD quite often, asking to listen to “the kids”! We both know almost all the words to all the songs! The music video is amazing. How refreshing to see these little children singing, playing, and praying together. Natalie Burt has created a beautiful compilation of worship music that every Catholic family should own. This CD makes a great Christmas or birthday present. I can’t wait for the next one to come out!
I am also one of the kids singing on this great CD. It is so cool to be able to sing praise to God and share it with the whole world!!!We all made lots of friends and laughed A LOT in the making of the CD! When we were working on it, I kept thinking, "This will probably never even get finished!" We were doing so much work, but in the end it turned out to be even better than we ever imagined! The songs are not boring or hard to understand! The messages make sense to everyone and are really fun to sing and dance with. I think that this CD is the best ever!
This CD is awesome. Our entire family - including kids 8,5,3, and 2 - loves it. It is one of the the best albums we have ever heard - especially with all the lyrics focused on God. Your Grace is Enough is the debut project by Catholic Kids Worship and the non-profit Catholic music ministry Christ Music. Executive Producer Natalie Burt teamed with talented musician Martin Doman with the vision of creating “upbeat rockin’ worship songs for today’s modern youth. Guest artists Doman, Chris Padgett, Sarah Bauer and Katie Rose lend great renditions of favorite worship tunes, but the true stars of this CD are the kids. Catholic Kids Worship, a group comprised of ten to fourteen year old musicians from two parishes in South Carolina, really give heart to the twelve tracks featured on Your Grace is Enough. Soloist Emma Dudek gets things rolling with her heart-filled rendition of the title track. This song, for me, typifies what draws me to the CD. The songs are largely sung by the kids themselves, except for those where they accompany guest artists. Your children will hear child-like (but never childish) versions of classic worship songs with a distinctly Catholic flavor. I found it incredibly hard not to sing along with the CD, and most times I listened I found myself belting out the tunes right along with the kids. The selections range from the rockin’ flavor of songs like “Salt and Light” and the anthem “Open Up the Gates” (featuring Chris Padgett) to stirring ballads such as “Heal Our Nation” and my personal favorite “Oh How You Love Me” featuring incredible vocals by Katie Rose. “Bread of Life” and “Queen of Peace, Pray for Us” underscore the Catholocity which is at the core of Your Grace is Enough. Don’t be fooled by the fact that Your Grace is Enough is targeted at the youth audience. This is music your entire family will love and be inspired by. I’d say that both the creators and the Catholic Kids Worship artists have created real magic with this project. I can’t wait to hear their next CD!
I feel this Cd could have gone better. I understand that the Cd is about the kids singing. You should have more kid solos. From my personal experiance in being in the Cd, overall I feel that you should go out and buy not only the first, but the second one as well.These kids have taken hard work in making both CDs a success. The parents also help out in the Cd in a different way by taking their time to allow their child to attend rehearsals and the recording. May you please take my advice. Natalie I wish you the best of luck on your Third Cd.
I am one of the lucky singers in the next CD. I can tell you it takes hard work and Dedication to make a CD. I would love to thank Natalie for giving me this awesome experience. If you have a child that isn't into Christian CD's, they will love this one. This CD has the old boring Christian songs totally remade. Your child and your self will enjoy having it. Soon enough they will know all the songs. It's that awesome. The time it takes to create one song is about 2 to 3 hours. Imagine a whole CD. All that time and effort was worth it for a wonderful CD. The kids in this one and the second one have remarkable voices. Natalie if your are reading this, I would like to say thank you for creating this CD. It has gotten me to enjoy Catholic music. I sing a Catholic song every day. May God bless you and the 2nd and 3rd CD.
