Music minister, singer/songwriter, and recording artist Sue Peters has spent the past eight years serving the vibrant community of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fresno, CA as the Music Director for their Life Teen youth program. Sue has been blessed to have had the opportunity to minister alongside many nationally known speakers and artists such as, Matt Maher, Fr. Stan Fortuna, Chris Padgett, Jason Pastore, Fr. Pablo Straub, Fr. Donald Calloway, Fr. John Hampsh, Wayne Wiebel, and many others. Sue was invited by Spiritandsong.com to perform with Matt Maher at the 2007 National Catholic Youth Conference in Columbus, OH.

“At the tender age of 15, I became a Christian. A really cute guy asked me out and surprised me by taking me to church instead of the expected dinner and a movie! I didn't fall in love with the really cute guy on that date, but I did fall in love. I fell in love with Jesus Christ. Several years later I met another really cute guy who also took me to church, but this time I did fall in love with the really cute guy, and the Catholic Church”, says, Sue. “Looking back on my life I can clearly see how God was preparing me (and still is) for the specific ways He has called me to serve Him and His children. My teen years were so hard for me. If I hadn’t become a Christian when I did I don’t know where I would be right now. I know now that it was all in God’s plan that I would be involved in youth ministry. He gave me a huge heart for youth, that’s for sure. God’s providence is perfect, always!”

Sue continues to write music for the church and lead worship every Sunday for the 1200+ parishioners attending her parish’s Life Teen Mass. Sue shares life and ministry with her husband Chris and their three beautiful children.
