John Angotti

John Angotti’s music touches the spirit and life of the contemporary--no matter the age--and is very popular, especially in the Contemporary Christian Rock market. An accomplished and superb pianist, John began studying piano at the age of seven in Clarksburg, West Virginia. His mother, who has been a church musician for over 50 years, motivated him to become involved with music at a very early age.

John achieved a degree in Marketing from West Virginia University and then went on to study voice and piano at the United States Military School of Music in Little Creek, Virginia. He performed with the US Navy Band for two years where he traveled extensively throughout the US and parts of Europe.

John's experience as Director of Children's Choirs, Young Adult, Adult and Contemporary Music Choirs, has prepared him for his current ministry as Director of Music at St. Joseph Cathedral in Wheeling, West Virginia. In addition he teaches music at Wheeling Central Catholic High School.
